We believe that Africa’s energy transition will succeed only if public institutions are equipped to lead it. The Net Zero Public Leadership Initiative (NZPLI) is our contribution to this transformation—a focused, high-impact public service program designed to strengthen the climate capacity of Africa’s public sector leaders.

What We Offer:

NZPLI delivers targeted strategic workshops for civil servants and public officials in ministries, agencies, and regulatory bodies involved in energy, climate, infrastructure, planning, and finance. The goal is simple yet urgent: empower the public leaders shaping Africa’s infrastructure and energy choices to make decisions that are climate-aligned, investment-ready, and inclusive.

Our sessions provide practical strategies for integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, securing climate finance, and navigating emerging carbon policies. We equip participants with legal, regulatory, and governance tools that support the implementation of net-zero goals across public sector planning and operations.

All content is rooted in Africa’s unique context—drawing from real-world experience to deliver insight that is relevant, practical, and aligned with the continent’s evolving needs and opportunities.

NZPLI is designed to be scalable, relevant, and impactful, delivered in partnership with those who care about Africa’s sustainable future.

The workshops faculty comprises seasoned legal, policy, and regulatory experts who deeply understand Africa’s institutional and market realities. Many have worked in African public institutions or executed energy and infrastructure transactions across the continent.
